The States and Territories of Australia

lets start with the territory that hosts the Capital of Australia, the Australian Capital Territory or the shortened version of the ACT and what is the Capital? Canberra.

South of The Australian Capital Territory is Victoria shortened version is VIC and the Capital is Melbourne, South again and across the water is the island of Tasmania or the shortened version is TAS with the Capital being Hobart.  North West of Tasmania is South Australia, the shortened version is SA  and the Capital is Adelaide, moving west again we will come to our largest state Western Australia, or the shortened version WA Capital is Perth, North East of Western Australia is the Northern Territory, or the shortened version is NT capital is Darwin, moving east of that is Queensland or the shortened version is QLD Capital is Brisbane last and certainly not least when you move south of Queensland you come to New South Wales, or the shortened version is NSW capital is Sydney.
